What does a teal and white ribbon mean?
[.highlighted] Q: Dear Teal, [.highlighted] Does cervical cancer have a color ribbon?
A: The teal and white ribbon is a symbol of awareness of and support for cervical cancer patients. Just like you may see pink ribbons throughout October for breast cancer awareness, wearing a teal and white ribbon can symbolize to others that you know and love someone who had or has cervical cancer. It's also an excellent way to raise awareness for this highly preventable cancer. With regular screenings, 92% of cervical cancers are preventable if caught early. So during January (Cervical Cancer Awareness Month), make sure to wear your teal and white ribbon and remind the women you love to get screened.
